Current Website scope
The current DarkBrain Website does not use a contact form, newsletter registration, user account, comments, embedded social-media content, embedded video, advertising tracker, analytics service, or non-essential marketing cookie.
The Website uses ordinary external links to platforms such as Gumroad, Amazon, TikTok, Kyle Oils, and PayPal. Visiting an external destination is governed by that provider’s own privacy information.
Website hosting and server logs
When the Website is published, technical connection data will be processed as necessary to deliver, secure, and operate the Website. Depending on the final hosting configuration, this may include the IP address, request time, requested file, referrer information, browser information, operating-system information, and server-status data.
The hosting provider, the applicable processing details, and the relevant retention information will be added before the Website is made publicly available.
Contact by email
When a person contacts DarkBrain by email, the information contained in the message is processed to review, manage, and respond to the inquiry.
Depending on the nature of the inquiry, processing may be necessary to take steps before entering into a contract, to address an existing Product or transaction-related matter, or to pursue the legitimate interest in responding to general, business, copyright, support, or Website-related communication.
The public DarkBrain address is provided through Gmail. Email content and related technical information may therefore be processed through Google services in accordance with Google’s applicable privacy information.
Messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, document relevant communication, meet legal obligations, or protect legitimate legal interests. They are then deleted when no continuing purpose or legal retention requirement applies.
Legal bases may include Article 6(1)(b), Article 6(1)(c), and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the inquiry.

DarkBrain does not embed these external services on the current Website. A connection to the external provider occurs only when a visitor deliberately follows the relevant link. A connection to PayPal occurs only when a visitor deliberately follows the voluntary-support link.
DarkBrain does not receive PayPal account, payment-card, or complete transaction information.
Affiliate links
Selected Crisis Ready equipment links are Amazon affiliate links.
Following an affiliate link may allow Amazon to associate the visit or a qualifying transaction with the referral according to Amazon’s own systems and privacy terms. The exact data processing performed after following an Amazon link is governed by Amazon’s own systems and privacy information.
DarkBrain does not receive the visitor’s complete Amazon account or payment information.
Data protection rights
Depending on the applicable legal requirements, data subjects may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability.
Where processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn for the future without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Where processing is based on legitimate interests, a person may have the right to object on grounds relating to their particular situation.
Right to lodge a complaint
A person has the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
